Hey folks. Whoa, it's been a while since I've even created a thread here. Wild.

Now that the band is back, and we have a new album coming, we are trying to think of ways to engage the LPA community beyond whatever the album cycle has to offer. The forums and the Shoutbox are great spaces, and I don't believe we have any intention of changing those. But, I'm personally wondering, are there other things you want to see?

To elaborate, there are a lot of ways for us to be talking with...

There are some situations where AI might be acceptable. And that is training it on your own voice to help with the vocal creation process before doing actual recording, or helping to artificially hit notes you'd otherwise not be able to, or by using it similarly to autotune/vocoders.

BUT

With the proliferation of AI covers on YouTube, TikTok (and the internet in general), it's only a matter of time before someone trains a model to use voices from Linkin Park, which without express...

Uploading Pic prob

I have Just tried to upload a couple of photos through the IMG tag but nothing's really displayed...Just that default Little IMG logo..
I ve then tried to edit my post and i tried to write the direct URL link of the image but i do recieve an error msg...talking about spam content.
Can anybody help me out on fixing this?
P.s. i uploaded the photos to third free site and got the URL i am supposed so use on a forum.

I have been coming here for news in some capacity or another since Fort Minor was just a random website with encrypted text and a Key, and the integrity and lack of super speculative news posts have always been amazing. Threads showing up as unread when they shouldn't be

Lately when I check the forums it will show some threads as unread even though I've already read all the recent posts. Example:

I have read all the recent posts from these two threads, I was even the most recent poster in one of them, yet it still shows as unread.

EDIT: and when I checked on this thread, it even said this thread was unread, even though my post was the only one here.

Firstly; if this has already been discussed then I apologise but I haven't been able to find anything discussing this.

I want to get some feedback on a potential idea. What I'm thinking is that when new members sign up, they should have to have been on the site for 'x' number of days/weeks, or have 'x' number of posts in the forums before being able to create a thread of their own. While it is of course unfair to paint all newbies with the same brush, it's no secret that a lot of people...

As the title of the post implies, I think with the removal of the necroposting rule, we should start doing something to the effect of the ETS forums and just have general discussion threads for an artist. I feel like we limit conversation by just having a thread about say, Hollywood Undead's new album (the thread I just came from) when we could just have a catch-all thread for anything Hollywood Undead.

From there we can list all the General Discussion Threads in a stickied post.

I know it's a bit of a nitpick, but I just don't understand why in most forums you can easily set your timezone, while in this one it's always GMT. Having a selection of timezones would make it easier to check on things like the shoutbox, to see how long it's been since something had been posted.

I am a huge fan of the LPA forums, and have some ideas that I think could only make them better. In short, I'd like to see more subforums. LPLive has more subforums and that makes it a lot easier to a) Know where to post things, and b) Find more specific stuff. With LP beginning the pre-album interviews and descriptions this year, I have been busier than years passed. I was wondering about the feasibility of having some kind of system where we get emails when a new news story is posted on the home page. I'm able to check email way more often than LPA / Facebook / Twitter personally, but I'm not sure about other members. Just an idea that I had that could be cool.

maybe I'm being too hopeful, but I think it would be cool if there was a usergroup for those who had provided files of interest to LPA, with approval of the admins of course. I'm not sure what it might be called, but there are users that have provided rare tracks and images that might not have reached a lot of LP fans had they not been shared through LPA. I would hope that the PSD file I found would be considered, but even if it wasn't, I think it'd be cool to have the group as a part of the...
