Ten years ago they looked like normal guys in their twenties, now they look like wealthy rock stars in their thirties. It makes sense.
I liked their older looks better, and am i the only one who thinks Mike has been influenced by Justin Bieber with his clothing style?
I realize this is way off topic, but did we ever find out if Linkin Park and Justin Bieber socialized while they were backstage at SNL? I'm sure they did. I wonder what they talked about, haha.
Lately, it kind of seems to me as though Mike is trying to dress like that guy from Crystal Castles. Just with less skinny clothes and stuff.
Meteora era. There was a soft grittiness to them, and a subtle flair of style. They seemed comfortable in this look, with no indication of any desire to conform.
I like the way they look now. They look more grown up. Each image went well with the album of the time, but the way they look now is so much cooler to me. I think the way they look now is perfect for their new album. BUT Meteora was pretty cool too. I don't know if this makes sense....
Bump just to say I'm really digging Joe's new looks. He looks awesome. Like some kind of Yakuza. Yakuza Joe. It even sounds good.
i really like their Hybrid Theory pictures and Minutes to Midnight pictures because for HT: i enjoy their colorful designful hair>that's what struck my eyes because of culture like in the Asian culture everyone have awesome different hair colors. It can be red, pink, orange, blue... i noticed that in alot of Asian culture from watching the music videos and in the Minutes to Midnight: front cover=the back pic.with shadow and beach background/theme the back cover=the front pic with more light.
Mikes style is WAY better now! Although it was weird to see him in skinny jeans. Although, id like to see Rob go back to what he was rockin back in the day. I remember when Pancake first came out I used to watch it all the time and I still do from time to time but that image if Rob was stuck in my head. When I was standing next to him backstage, it just seemed weird. I guess I expected the old skoool version. Chester has, for the most part, always has a good style sense. Joe, spike the hair. Brad, love it all. Phx has a better sense now.
Except I'm trying to find the point in time where plaid flannel shirts and tight v-necks became the indicator of a wealthy man.
Definitely the MTM look. Chester looked the most 'punk' during 2006/2007 and I loved the photoshoot for MTM. Chester had this kind of attitude. Idk. And I like Mike with short hair.
Except I'm trying to find the point where we were talking about wealthy people in general. I mean, obviously they aren't going to look like Steve Jobs or whoever. But look at pretty much any popular musician now who is the same age as them, and one way or another their clothing probably isn't that different.
