You can't predict earthquakes. They're pretty much the only natural disaster that arrives with no prior warning. Hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis and volcanos all can be predicted to some degree. Earthquakes can't. This guy is full of shit. And yes, if there's a major earthquake in North America tomorrow, I will gladly come in here and admit I was wrong.
I remember watching something in school stating how the San Andreas is due for a major quake within the next five years or so. That was about 11 years ago.
They've been predicting a major earthquake on the New Madrid Fault in Missouri for the past 25 years. Still nothing yet.
I predict that there WON'T be an earthquake in North America within the next 10 minutes. I base this off many algorithms that I've been calculating throughout the past 5 years.
I just made an earthquake in my toilet after eating 12 White Castles last night. I'm not sure what the readings were, but I would guess somewhere around 6.0.
I love how when something happens the mainstream media gets all in a worry fit and throws fear into the minds of the people buying into what their watching on TV. Check out recent quakes here: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/
