    Doesn't Chester being in the studio imply he's doing vocals? If so, aren't vocals one of the last things they do?

    If I remember correctly, it was said in an interview/chat/tweet/whatever that they're doing both simultaneously this time.

    But anyway, Chester in the studio can mean a lot of things, for example that he's been updated on the new stuff Mike has written recently, or that they're doing their weekly reunions where they rate their demos.

    Not necessarily. It's not like the band make the music and then call Chester when they're done. :rolleyes:

    The band's album-making process isn't that cut-and-dry anymore; it's more flexible nowadays. Vocals are recorded for scratch demos, final versions and seemingly infinite versions in-between, and this takes place all throughout the album's timeline. The band members will work on anything at any point during the process, right down to mixing time.

    Are they in the NRG studio? Because, this one looks different. I'm just not used to seeing them in other studios anymore.
