"Fuck that guy for coming to an award show to spread mental health awareness and promote positivity then leaving early! It's a Sunday night, it's not like he has kids or anything to take care of in the morning and that he's probably still not entirely ready to be stuck in the media tropical storm that is an awards ceremony. What a douchenozzle, his right to privacy and wanting to go home to be with his wife and kids should be put aside for sitting in a chair for a few hours, clapping when names get called out, and getting inundated with questions from the press!"
So, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this troll job from Mike was rather refreshing. It reminds me of times when the band was full of pranks and jokes and all around humor. It gives me some semblance that it is still there. I know some people legitimately got upset with the AMA Staff over this, which is why I feel like Mike had to put out his "Shout out" tweet. Apparently people were sending unpleasant messages to AMA Staff and management. I feel that is a bit of overstepping of bounds so far as the role of a "fan" is supposed to go. And somepeople want to call Mike a douchebag. *Kermit sipping tea* Anyways, back to my point... It's really good to see this side of Shinoda again. I hope the backlash of his Instagram story doesn't hinder him from having more fun in the future.
Oh yes, I agree. I quite welcomed the return of 'trollnoda' and I hope he does more of this in the future.
