Exactly a month out after finishing an incredible European tour leg that ran throughout June, Linkin Park has dropped the first LPTV episode that will cover the final run of From Zero shows. The episode kicks off with a brief look at the band in their rehearsal space preparing for the tour, where percussionist Emily Armstrong is shown laying down the beat for the "When They Come for Me" / "Remember the Name" outro. We then look at the band loading into Stockholm for the first show of the leg, including footage of fans grabbing the cinnamon Linkin Buns by the venue on the afternoon before the concert. We also get a candid look at Adam under stress after misplacing some important plaques ... The episode then shows us Linkin Park in Hamburg's open-air stadium Volksparkstadion for two shows at the beginning of June, both nights packed to the brim with fans. Fans of Emily Armstrong's drumming will also be happy to get some beautiful pro-shot footage of her big moment behind the kit during the second show. Then, we get a look at the livestreamed crown jewel of the tour leg: Linkin Park's grand return to Nürburg's Rock am Ring festival. Fans around the world won't soon forget how the band blindsided us with the return of "With You" to start off the affair, and followed it up with a headline performance right up there with their previous Rock am Ring sets. The band members are actually shown preparing for their "With You" entrance by rewatching their own 2001 Rock am Ring performance of the song, same intro and all. We also see Armstrong taking a break from drumming to deliver some vicious screams and crowdsurfing during "Heavy Is the Crown" - she really can do it all. Lastly, the LPTV episode takes us to two days later in Nürnberg where Linkin Park is seen headlining Rock am Ring's sister festival Rock im Park, the fourth of Germany's six shows on the tour leg. It's reasonable to say we're getting at least two more episodes out of the band's time touring Europe, with 12 more shows of the run left to cover. Source: Linkin Park on YouTube
This gave me a feeling of "Alrighty, now I'd like to see them live again". This summer came a bit too early after last year show, but really looking forward the next cycle
Me too, I felt so nostalgic seeing those excited crowds. It's also been a while since I listened to any LP songs so this episode was a nice way to revisit them
