Linkin Park has at last revealed details regarding the release of From Zero documentary Unshatter, updating the unshattermovie.com website with long-awaited dates. The site explains that the film, directed by band member Joe Hahn, will be shown in theatres starting on September 30, with tickets being available for advance purchase on August 13. More region-specific information has not yet been made available, but there is a sign-up form for early access details of some kind. The website also gives us a blurb laying out what we can expect in the film: Unshatter will be accompanied by a soundtrack album containing live recordings from the November 15, 2024 From Zero album release show in São Paulo, Brazil, a set which was broadcast live to the world at the time. Although the description quoted above seems to be fairly clear on the matter, Linkin Park presumably also filmed the November 16 show in anticipation of combining footage from both into a live concert film for 2025, which then likely morphed into Unshatter instead. It is a possibility that both the documentary and live album feature audio and video footage from both of the back-to-back performances spliced together. This live album, titled Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo), will be released on September 25, and various physical formats and merch offerings are available for pre-order here, including a webstore-exclusive vinyl variant. While the CD and digital editions are all described as containing 20 tracks, the 2-LP vinyls seem to be restricted to 16, apparently just omitting four interludes ("Inception", "Creation", "Break / Collapse" and "Resolution"). The full 20-song tracklist is printed in the webstore as follows: The recording of "Somewhere I Belong" has been released as a lead single of sorts to promote the documentary and album, available to hear on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, and a video has been uploaded to Linkin Park's official YouTube channel. This video differs from the live broadcast we remember from 2024, with different camera angles and cuts, and there's also a fresh audio mix by Neal Avron; presumably, Avron has given all the live recordings new and improved mixes for this album. The video's description mentions the live album contains "live tracks recorded at our FROM ZERO album release show in November 2024" - again indicating the November 15 show specifically. Previously, a recording of "Two Faced" from that November 15 São Paulo show (where the song had its live debut) appeared on the physical variant of the From Zero Deluxe Edition released in early 2025, mixed by longtime Linkin Park engineer Ethan Mates. With the 2024 São Paulo setlists having been closer to 30 songs than 20, there are, of course, a number of songs from the show missing across all editions, such as LIVING THINGS cuts like "BURN IT DOWN", the solo segments highlighting Mike Shinoda and Mr. Hahn, and various other fan-favourite staples from the 2024 tour legs like "One Step Closer", "Breaking the Habit" and "My December". With the Unshatter release date less than two months away now, we can expect further information about the global rollout very soon, as the "Somewhere I Belong" live video description notes that the documentary will see a "worldwide for a limited run". Unshatter being made available for Linkin Park fans to watch is likely going to signal the true end of the From Zero album cycle, with the remaining content covering the recent European tour also likely to all be out there by then. I've complained endlessly about the band using SIB as the opening song throughout this tour cycle, and they stopped doing it basically right after the AU tour leg where I got to see them Anyway, I'm finally properly watching this myself, and you're totally right, it is a solid performance. Emily sounds so good!
On the topic of the soundtrack itself, I'm not picking it up. I'll wait for a Blu-Ray/4k combo with the movie, because there's no way it's not releasing as part of some kind of soundtrack+film set.
For those in the US: AMC, Regal, and Alamo Drafthouse all have pages up for the film on their websites, though I haven't found any specific locations or showtimes. Some list the run time as 1 hour 47 mins, some as 1 hour 50 mins, so maybe the credits are around 3 minutes long.

I don't think you make a whole ass film and don't put it anywhere. TBD would just mean "we don't know the manner of distribution yet." The wording here sucks but I'll read it in the best possible meaning, since the way he wrote it comes off like, "we don't know if we're gonna put this anywhere period", lmao. I just hope that since it's (PROBABLY) not showing in my city or I guess the south island in general, I won't have to wait too long to access it... Since it's not a huge tentpole release I hope VOD is quick.
