Ok, there's good news and bad news. Good: They are making a cartoon series of what might be one of the funniest films in the history of cinema...SPACEBALLS! And Mel Brooks is helping, which is a good thing. Bad: It's going to air on G4, quite possibly one of the worst TV channels ever to hit TV in the last couple years or so. Oh well. http://tv.ign.com/articles/733/733914p1.html
I don't understand why G4 picked it up. G4 has sucked the big one since Neil Tiles took over and decided sex, booze and stupidity is what it's all about. Spaceballs would have been excellent if say, G4's demographic were still nerds and such who actually remember this movie. Nonetheless I'll be looking foreword to it as I loved the movie. Btw Friskey, you can't say it's been the worst channel to hit in the last few years. A few years ago G4 started strong with a good premise. It's just the the original creator of the network left and his replacement decided to turn the network to crap. G4 was actually good in the beginning, now it's a Spike TV wannabe.
