Can someone tell me how to get a prompt asking me for my user name and password at start up when I turn my computer on?

I know there has to be a way for this to happen.

    Thanks! :)

    Go to my computer,
    then to control panel,
    then to user accounts
and a window will pop up with options to change your current user stuff or to create a new one..

Cool feature is that you can change your user account picture too... ;)

I hope that helps you out! ^_^

If you're the only user on your computer, and you don't like the fancy blue screen, you can always use the classic logon by disabling fast user switching. note: if you want to lock your computer, you can still do this by pressing winkey+L, regardless of what your start menu leads you to think.

Psh, you need to use TrueCrypt if you want to make sure of that. :p Random 20GB file in the middle of your C drive.
