Can someone tell me how to get a prompt asking me for my user name and password at start up when I turn my computer on? I know there has to be a way for this to happen. Thanks!
Go to my computer, then to control panel, then to user accounts and a window will pop up with options to change your current user stuff or to create a new one.. Cool feature is that you can change your user account picture too... I hope that helps you out!
If you're the only user on your computer, and you don't like the fancy blue screen, you can always use the classic logon by disabling fast user switching. note: if you want to lock your computer, you can still do this by pressing winkey+L, regardless of what your start menu leads you to think.
