I was just wondering if there is any purpose behind the associate number being placed under the avatar. As far as i can see, it doesn't hold any significance at all, and doesn't really seem that big of a deal. Can you change what information can be put under the avatar such as the associate number, group, & joining date? Because if so, maybe it could be changed to something a bit more personal / important, such as location or something? I dunno, not really that big of a deal, it just crossed my mind.
Yeah, i know that, but i'm just saying is it really necessary to know what member number we are? I just thought it could be a better idea to put something there that would be usefull or a little more interesting than a member number. Is there any purpose behind it, like, does it help the mods / admins with anything?
It's part of Invision's layout of the member column of the forum table. LPA's modified it to say "Associate" instead of "Member." No, there's no use for it, it's just an indication of member count. Also, no, I don't think the member column needs any more modifying. Anything else there makes it look cluttered/stupid in my opinion.
You could easily modify the Associate # to be your location, and join date to be uhh, your name. *shrug*
For the five thousandth time, STOP giving your little "suggestions" like you are the Jesus of forums. We are so sick of it, you have to throw in your little Invision plugs in every damn thread. I don't know how many more times I can say it. WE DO NOT WANT YOUR IDEAS. WE WILL DO THINGS HOW WE WANT. Do it again and I'm warning you.
