    i think im getting an IPOD for christmas, but i have windows ME, is there anyway of using an IPOD with windows ME?

    Google is probably your best chance to find a program that will allow to do that.

    If you can't, then I'm afraid you're screwed. Have a nice day. ;)

    My brother bought one last year before we upgraded to XP. We had 98SE and it wouldn't work there. In addition, the thing wouldn't connect to our computer because the link cable was for macs only.

    It says it's compatible with Windows 2000 and XP. I'm not sure if those are the same requirements for all Ipods. Make sure you have the right hardware for it, too.

    Oh sweet mother, don't get an iPod mini. It's a total waste of money. Why get a 'hip' 4gb iPod mini for 200$ something when you could pay $20 for 18gb more?

    I believe there's a program somewhere that allows you to use the iPod with ME, and you can buy an adapter thing that lets you plug the iPod into a PC.
