This song is meant to be kind of like a short story, that's all really. It's been written for my new side-project, (SYC), and has 3 sets of vocals. There's a male "narrator" as it were, a male character and a female character. The music that's going with it sounds awesome so far as well and it's completely different to anything Vacancy has ever done, or will ever do.

    Hope you like it.

Italics are female vocals or female speech.
    Bold is male vocals.
    Underlined is narrator vocals.
In the chorus, the brackets are sang over the word before them but because there's different vocalists it'll work

    "Shoreline"

He followed you from the east coast, right to the shoreline,
The blood moon reflected menacingly in his eyes,
"I knew I'd find you here, hiding from your old life,"
He said to you; forcing memories back into your mind,
At 5 foot 7, he wasn't that tall of a guy,
But built like a tank, no one questioned his style,
"I told you not to come here, the tides are dangerous,"
    ("I don't care.")
You shot him a glance that could kill,
And he knew you hoped that it actually will,
"I'm so sorry for what happened that night,
I wish that I could take it back,"
"But you can't, so you'll just pretend that you're sorry,
And hope that I'll let it slip past."

    "The night is still young,
I could still run into the ocean,
    And never stop,
    Never look back,
At the man that's abandoned me,
    Abandoned his family."

You dip your toes in the freezing water, met by such suprise,
His face dropped down like the sunlight, right before your eyes,
"I've said I'm sorry, and I love you, tell me what else do you want?"
"I want to know that it never happened, I want to know what happened to love,"
"Our love has not left us all alone, it never has and never will,
What does it take for a pretty girl like you to forgive?"
He takes a step closer and then he withdraws,
As he notices you start to move further away from the shore.

    "The night is still young,
I could still run into the ocean,
    And never stop,
    Never look back,
At the man that's abandoned me,
    Abandoned his family."

You (I) took the ring off your finger,
    Remembering all of those pictures,
    Your
(our) wedding day, your (our) wedding day,
    Seems so far away,

You (I) took the ring off your finger,
    Remembering all of those pictures,
    Your
(our) wedding day, your (our) wedding day,
    Seems so far away,

    "The night is still young,
I could still run into the ocean,
    And never stop,
    Never look back,
At the man that's abandoned me,
    Abandoned his family."

He followed you from the east coast, right to the shoreline,
The blood moon reflected menacingly in his eyes,
As you took that last step, and swallowed your last breath,
The tears in your eyes were wiped away by the waves.
