In this car I drive along this highway on this bridge, Searching for something or someone Who I can hold onto and cry. Things have been dark and they have been disturbing But never in my life have I feared. I know that as I drive over a hundred and ten miles Over the controlling speed limit I am bound to the law and its might I will never come out of this journey alive As I know I am here to meet my destiny The sirens behind me appear as these eyes of mine dart To the rear view mirror to see the black and red Colours of the police department I resist as I slam down the accelerator and speed towards this fate Of mine which I chose tonight. I lose control minutes later as I feel my hands slip from the wheel Next thing I know I'm seeing murky water Air bubbles rise through the water and I close my eyes My lungs are screaming for air already But my heart is muffling those screams My lungs burst and I am dead.
