This is a mashup EP that I am currently working on. I have three tracks so far that I am pretty satisfied with right now, but that can change. Tracklist (So Far): He Is Mi/I Am Yu (Intro) - Da Beatminerz/Rush Hour 3 G6 Stereo - (Like A G6 vs. In Stereo) By Far-East Movement vs. Fort Minor. Megadef Airlines - (Megadef vs. Paper Planes) By Styles of Beyond vs. M.I.A. I will reveal album artwork once I feel I am finished, which will be before 11.15.10, and may also include an interlude made by me, maybe .
Ok so I ultimately decided to take out Mr. Brown's Bentley and make it a track all on it's own. Just for the mere fact that I want some kinda artist variety on here, with no repeating artists. And I am finished with an intro to the EP called He Is Mi/I Am Yu (Intro) with a Da Beatminerz beat and a quote from Rush Hour 3, since this isn't meant to be a real "serious" project. It is serious, but it's meant to be fun. So I am editing the main post. -----------------UPDATE--------------------- ok, so G6 Stereo has been uploaded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfIuvblvbnQ I do apologize if it is blocked in your country, it's not something I can control. So if you can enjoy it, do so --------------UPDATE--------------------------- Working on a mash of Touch The Sky by Kanye and Lupe with Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day. They actually go really good together, surprisingly. Stay tuned
As a fan of both Far East Movement and Fort Minor, no offense, but that was bad. Really bad. The Fort Minor flow DOES NOT FIT THE FAR EAST MOVEMENT BEAT AT ALL. Like, it isn't on beat, it doesn't match the tone and it's just mismatched in general. I will be quite honest, I hope that isn't the best out of the bunch. Because that was probably one of the worst mash-ups I've ever heard.
It is constructive. The tempos do not match. AKA It doesn't fit the FM beat at all. It isn't on beat. That's pretty constructive if you ask me. The tone of the beat with the tone of the vocals doesn't match either. That's also constructive. It's a bad mix. There are songs that are just meant to be mixed. But if they're meant to be mixed, they need to be done right. The two songs could POTENTIALLY work, but this is not an example of that.
