I was at LP's show here in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend. RIGHT before they came on stage, they had some music playing in the arena. I'm looking for the LAST song that played before LP came on (when the backdrop was still up). It sounded really eerie... It actually reminded me of NIN's "A Warm Place" and the note progression of "Standing Outside A Broken Phone Booth" by the Primitive Radio Gods. Does ANYBODY know what this song is? It's been driving me crazy because it was too faint to decipher for sure. Thank you in advance!!!!
I'm really sorry that I can't help you...I think I remember hearing that at the show I went to as well...but the crowd was screaming too much for me to hear what it was...but I will ask around my friends who also went and see if they know or if they heard anything.
Joe often creates 1 or 2 minute intros and interludes for live shows. The most recent ones I can remember are from the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas festival in 2003. Those intros were awesome. I've got a bunch of intros from numerous live shows, and they're all great. In one of them a voice says "YOU CAN'T F*CK WITH THIS BAND!" and then they get right into With You. Really cool. The songs don't have names. They're usually just labeled as "Intro (City name here)"
Thank me for this! sorry, no spamming Click on "list". A list of tons of songs should pop up. Go to the drop down list and pick "rock em ring". That has an very cool string and drum intro and the one called "DJing" that says "You cannot f**k with this band!"
in that case, intro Worcester was awesome! It was an intro to Don't Stay and I didn't even know what the song was until they started the actual song.
