Literally every track on the Revenge of the Sith soundtrack CD has been shortened and cut up with add-ins from recording outtakes. It's horrifying. That's the actual track that plays while the two duels are happening in the movie.

 

I prefer the CD version tbh. This lacks the epic fucking choir that I love about the CD version so much. I do hate it when soundtracks get horrible edits though. I remember how the score for the 2009 Star Trek (though brilliant), was really neutered in its official release. Also annoying is when soundtracks don't put the tracks in the order they're presented in the film, which RotS is completely guilty of.

My favorite presentation of any film score is "The Complete Recordings" for The Lord of the Rings. Though it's 10 discs long, it's completely accurate to what's presented in the films, plus, they're just better in general. The full version of Khazad-dûm is AMAZING.

 

There's a version out there that's unreleased that includes both the movie and the outtakes together, but I think it's only been used in Battlefront 2 as background music. I prefer the long version simply because I think it builds up the scene better, but I love the choir and harp in the CD version.
