This song channels Emily's rock'n'roll/grunge energy so well, I'm glad it is on the album. It is also ideally placed on the tracklist - the last aggressive climax before the emotional end.

This song has risen near the top for me. The message I pull from the lyrics pierces right through my heart. The false ending that gives me Dead By Sunrise vibes, finishing it off with the most Nirvana outro I have heard in quite some time.

    Fuck.

    Experiencing the same thing.

Beginning hits so hard, the drumming is my second favorite on the album after Casualty, guitar tone is cool, and the outro is just awesome.

Amazing song, channels the grungy vibes of Emily's Dead Sara stuff and combines them with nu metal-ish elements. I love Mike's brief rap verses and the instrumental. Only small issues is the very ending, the distorted almost BMTH - esque screams feel a little forced. Cut 10 seconds and you get a serious competitor for best song of the recotrd

The cynic in me would say this is just potentially lazy rather than a genius move, potentially

I think its intentional given the same kind of thing happens in Heavy is the Crown & Good Things Go.

There's a moment at the end of the second chorus where Emily is doing "YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH" again and Collin does this drum fill and when I listen to it in the car I love hearing the drums move across the dashboard in the speakers.

This song is so good, even Mike's lines which I know aren't everyone's favorite, it all gives it a very live feel. He tends to deliver vocals like that live.

I also like hearing that this was one of the final songs made, cause it *could* signal that this is the quality of song we get when this new core group of 6 get together to create. A lot of the other songs seem to have beginnings as possible Mike solo stuff or some hypothetical non-Linkin Park project. This song seems to be mostly the result of these 6 being creative and writing for Linkin Park.

They did say this song was the last one to come together, so I could see it. This is my favorite song on the record, and Overflow is closely behind.

The outro to this song .... The best way I'd express it 'd be by fusing those 2 guys :head: :cocainefan:

I'm honestly slightly anxious if I'll ever get to experience the song live, given I'm not convinced if it's going to survive in post FZ setlists, and even then, probably will need a lucky shot. But I really hope so!!

People at LPL have had only praise for the song live too. Seems like it just hits different when being in the arena.

Very surprised that people don't like Mike's rap part in this song. I find it one of the best parts of the song, sure it's not necessary but it's a nice extra touch that makes the song feel way more hype, personally. Gives the verses a sense of dynamic that keeps it fresh and involved (as opposed to just having a bar of pure instrumental, which would also work but leave space, which is clearly not what they were going for, the song is supposed to feel like a freight-train, continuously moving forward). The only issue I have with this song is the amount of repetition in the outro, but it's somewhat alleviated by how Emily gradually shifts from saying "from now on I don't need ya" to "from now on got amnesia". Makes it much more interesting.
Definitely a highlight of the album, a solid 9.5/10. It has Collin's best drum performance so far, and probably Emily's most impressive vocals as well. Great guitar work... definitely rivals their best heavy songs.
