Image credit: @radnomadvisuals on Instagram The South American leg of the 2025 From Zero World Tour keeps going, this time heading to Santiago, Chile! For the first time since 2017, Linkin Park returns to Chile to perform their third show in not just the country, but also in the city of Santiago. And for the first time ever, the performance in Chile now comes at the end of the touring cycle (well, for 2025 at least...), instead of coming at the start of it like in 2010 and 2017. That's right, for the second show of the A Thousand Suns touring cycle, Linkin Park headed over to Chile for their first performance in the country, taking place at the Maquinaria Festival. At that show before, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, they had debuted 'When They Come for Me' and 'The Messenger' live and two of the interludes from the album, 'Empty Spaces' and 'Wisdom, Justice, and Love'. At the show itself not really much happened ... Mike sang 'Burning in the Skies' over the bridge of 'Bleed It Out' for the first time. Below you can watch the full show. Just like in 2010, in 2017 the band headed to Santiago, Chile for the second show of the One More Light touring cycle, slightly chaging up the setlist from the show before in Buenos Aires, Argentina since they were now playing a headlining set instead of a festival. 'Invisible' and 'One More Light' was added to the setlist at this show, neither having been played as part of a show before this. This show was also the first time that 'Talking to Myself' opened the show. The 'Apaches' intro to 'Waiting for the End' was dropped at this show, having been part of the song since 2012, and instead replaced with a new intro with 'Remember the Name' instead. 'Talking to Myself' opening the show 'Waiting for the End' with the new intro As for the most recent show, Linkin Park sure gave Buenos Aires one hell of a performance. And we got to watch it on a professional livestream! Because this entire touring cycle has only had two full proshots (discounting special performances) we've lacked professionally shot footage of some songs, but thankfully this show fixed some of that. We finally got two new proshots, the hybrid version of 'Lost' and the shortened version of 'Where'd You Go'. There is now also a professional recording of 'A Place for My Head' with the new lineup. Now we're just waiting for songs like 'Over Each Other', 'IGYEIH', 'Unshatter', and 'Let You Fade'. Poppy also joined the band for 'One Step Closer' at this show, so now we also have a proshot of that! As with all shows this year, there was plenty of rotation between songs at this show, with seven total songs being rotated. 'CASTLE OF GLASS' took up the spot that had been held by 'LIES GREED MISERY' and 'From the Inside' on the previous South American shows this year. As for the surprise verse on the 'When They Come for Me / Remember the Name' mashup, Mike added in the second verse from 'When They Come for Me'. Mike rapped the first verse from 'There They Go' over the bridge, but it sounded like he intended to do something new at first. Will we see the return of the band playing the 'Numb/Encore' in a different style? Will Poppy join Linkin Park on stage at this show again? She has now joined the band on two out of three shows, just sitting out the show in Lima, Peru. It's unknown why she came out in Bogota and Buenos Aires but not in Lima, maybe she only comes out in cities that start with B? It remains to be seen if she will once again join the band for 'One Step Closer'.
