The band has a few Grammys under their belts already; 'Crawling' won Best Hard Rock Performance in 2002 and 'Numb/Encore' won for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2006. Mike Shinoda also won a Grammy on his own in 2022, winning the Best Remixed Recording for his remix of the Deftones song Passenger'. While the band already has two Grammys, these nominations are the first ones for the new members of the band, Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday February 1st, 2026.

Do you think the band will win in their categories? Come and discuss in our forums.

    Linkin Park, Deftones, Turnstile.

    Pretty happy with those nominations.

Honestly, as succesful as the comeback landed, i would be really surprised if they won't win atleast one of the nominations.

I hope they win something, their comeback was awesome also why do they only have one grammy to their name? The other nominations are very good too :D

I don't know the HAIM and YUNGBLUD albums, but, I think the other three are more likely to win anyway. In my opinion, the Turnstile album is just not that great, and shouldn't Deftones be in more of a metal category? I think LP could take this.

I would be okay with either Deftones or LP winning. Even if I am personally not a fan of private music, I get that it's a return to form for them and that they are very influential band that deserves recognition.
