Well to be fair i was your age when 8-Bit Rebellion came out and i played it. So you are really doing everything right
Now, the next thing you should do is become enraged over A Thousand Suns and claim that Linkin Park has sold out
uh ok i'll try it out.... URG LINKIN PARK SOLD OUT AND KILLED THEIR """METAL""" SOUND SO THEY CAN PROFIT OF THIS NEW EMO OR WHATEVER THAT GAY SHIT IS CALLED THEY NEED TO UN-SELL OUT AND GO BACK TO MAKING THE THINGS THAT GOT THEM ON THE MAINSTREAM RADIO AND CONTINUE HAVING THEIR #truealternative AND #authentic SOUND how did I do
You forgot the complaining about electronic music and how bad the electro-techno crap they have everywhere is but otherwise spot-on. Oh and don't forget mentioning them putting Brad out of a job and the lack of guitarz
jeez forgot about that XD. I guess I could have complained about the lyrics """"not making sense"""" too lol
Mike interview with Argentina music organizer of some sort. Longer than the Peru one and with fewer cuts lol
It's interesting he touches on the sessions he did on Twitch around covid times. I am not sure, but I don't think I listened to the entirety of the instrumentals he put on Spotify back then. Some of them yes, and there were even some pretty good ones. There was that one that reminded me of Session, cool stuff. But at some point, I though he was starting to generate too much new content, and it started to stop feeling special. Here, he pretty much echoes that as well.
I've been trying to go through all of his videos and pull every note possible from them. There's some coverage from LPL that begins some ways into his Twitch streams, but there's still a good bit missing. Case in point: the ATS-style stream where he explains how he programmed the toms for WTCFM in a Roland 707 isn't recorded anywhere. I haven't gotten very far with it so far. Archival work is time-consuming sometimes.
Recently, I took this LP quiz where you had to match a song title from multiple-choice options to an audio snippet. If I had to do a Shinoda one with the Dropped Frames tracks included, I would be screwed Lucky for you that a certain someone helped you out
I feel like there's been a lot more merch this album cycle that I've liked compared to what they've come out with for previous cycles
It's fascinating how after the frustration of making MTM, they doubled down and made the most experimental and ambitious album of their career...
I guess MTM proved that they could do much more than stick to one genre or "radio music"... all the albums that came after that are its own thing and I'm glad they are
