Last year when Linkin Park's newest album From Zero was released, the channel Drumeo on YouTube made a video where their host / content director Brandon Toews had to learn and play all the songs on the spot. Recently, Colin Brittain dropped by the Drumeo studio to break down "The Emptiness Machine". In this new video, Colin plays through the song, talking about the how the drum parts were written, differences in playing the song live, and the music video shoot.

According to a post on Instagram from Brandon Toews, more videos are coming in 2026.

We look forward to seeing more videos added to Drumeo's archive of Linkin Park content.

And, if you want more videos of Colin and his drums, there was a drum playthrough of "The Emptiness Machine" released on the Linkin Park's YouTube channel back in March.

There was also a video where Colin and his drum tech Yoshi went through and made a breakdown of Colin's kit, released in April.

And finally, in August there was a video uploaded by Zildjian where they talk to Colin about his cymbals.

What do you think of the video? Do you want more? Come and discuss in our forums.

For a 9-minute video, I felt like there wasn't very much in it :bookread:
