Image credit: @dennisjohns0n Tonight, Linkin Park is playing their very first show in India, an cultural moment which some fans have been waiting for since Hybrid Theory rocked the world at the start of the century! Almost a year deep into the From Zero world tour, Linkin Park initially announced last August that early 2026 would see their very first Indian tour date in Mumbai, before following it up with a November announcement revealing this second tour date in Bengaluru which would precede it. Rolling Stone India just published an interview with band member Mike Shinoda, who mentions there that the band had been waiting for the country's infrastructure to be up to par; that time has evidently arrived. Tonight's show will be Brigade Innovation Gardens, an outdoor venue located on the outskirts of Bengaluru (also known as Bangalore), right by Kempegowda International Airport. The venue's construction was actually completed very recently, and it appears Linkin Park will be the very first act to grace a stage there. Information about it is otherwise very limited, but its capacity appears to be variable, given that it is a vast outdoor space. The fan demand for Linkin Park shows in India has been big and sustained over the course of their career, so it ought to be expected that the event will accommodate attendee numbers at least comparable to an arena venue. Supporting the band tonight is the New Dehli-based metal sensation Bloodywood, one of biggest Indian names in the genre and the first metal act from the country to chart on Billboard. Bengaluru is the capital city of Karnataka, a state found in the south of India. The city has played host to big rock shows before, and was once known as the place in India for heavy bands to perform, particularly after Iron Maiden played there back in 2007, while its own underground metal ecosystem was also flourishing there with support from local bars and other venues. In more recent years, its bigger venues have faced conflicts with other commercial interests, making it harder to host these big music events - even as recently as late 2024, things looked to be in dire straits for the region. It remains to be seen if this new one hosting the likes of Linkin Park could play a role in turning things around. Linkin Park kicked off 2026 with a show in Sakhir, Bahrain earlier this month, another country they had never performed in before. With this India show, the third one on the Middle East / India leg, that makes two firsts for the band in the space of a week. Most recently, Linkin Park performed a show in Abu Dhabi on the 20th. Some peculiar things which stayed consistent between these first two 2026 sets: "Crawling", "From the Inside" and "Stained" appearing on both setlists, and an extended intro for "In the End" which incorporates the iconic Stranger Things title theme (presumably in reference to a certain recent meme combining the two) also being used during both shows. Abu Dhabi did get a slightly-different set, with "New Divide", "Cut the Bridge" and "Given Up" getting their first performances of 2026, many of the other songs being moved around (including "Bleed It Out" being played last), and "From Zero (Intro)" being curiously omitted As of now, the From Zero songs yet to appear in 2026 setlists are "Casualty" and "Good Things Go", the former having been replaced with "IGYEIH" for the Bahrain setlist. The chances are good that those songs will turn up in tonight's set. Beyond that, this brief tour leg isn't likely to have any shocking surprises for fans who have followed the setlists show-to-show, but Linkin Park has nonetheless hit the ground running with some big touring milestones in 2026, and perhaps right on time as the From Zero cycle is expected to draw to a close later in the year. After tonight's Bengaluru show, Linkin Park will play a second show in India, headlining Lollapalooza India in Mumbai on January 25, before taking all of February off ahead of the Australia / New Zealand tour leg scheduled for March. Long due they'd play in India. Expectations for a setlist surprise are at zero lol But I hope the fans over there will have a blast, they deserve it!
Yeah! Being a first time for them I’m sure they enjoy an amazing show. Only we nitpicking fans are aware of the never changing setlist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I still hold out hope for Shadow of the Day now Or...QWERTY! Whatever they play, what a great day for fans in India

I just saw from a post by Alex that apparently this was the largest concert ever hosted in the city's history. Absolutely wild.
So cool that all these places are getting to host LP for the first time because this whole tour cycle happened
