Brisbane Entertainment Centre is the venue the band will play in on March 3rd and March 5th, it just happens it's the same venue that the band performed at in both 2007 and 2010. Looking back at the band's first two album cycles, there are only two shows in Brisbane to note. The bands first show in the city took place on May 5th 2001, and it was only the bands third show in the country. Unfortunately there is no known setlist for this show out there, and other than this show being the first time that Chester performed a solo acoustic cover of ‘Jane Says’ by Jane’s Addiction, there isn’t much to say about the show. So let’s move on to October 18, 2003 when the band returned to Brisbane for a performance. Again, unfortunately there isn’t much to say about this show as a setlist has never been found for this show. However, since the band played identical sets at the shows immediately before and after this one, it is safe to assume this performance featured no major surprises. Thankfully, going forward we have setlists and show info for all the remaining shows we’re gonna talk about. It took four years for the band to pay Australia another visit, and their last stop on the tour took place in Brisbane on October 22nd. Being part of the Minutes to Midnight cycle, the show featured eight tracks off of the album, even starting the show off with ‘No More Sorrow’. Throughout the show they played seven more songs from the album, including mainstays ‘Given Up’ and ‘What I’ve Done’. They also performed now long gone songs like ‘Don’t Stay’ and ‘Cure for the Itch’ Full official recording The band returned to Brisbane on the A Thousand Suns touring cycle, and while in 2007 they ended the Australia tour in Brisbane, this year they started the Australia run in the city with a show taking place on December 3rd, Brad Delsons birthday, Chester even took the time during ‘The Messenger’ to sing “Happy Birthday” and wish Brad a happy birthday. Audience recording 2013 saw the return of the band when they were still out on the LIVING THINGS touring cycle for their last (to date) shows in Australia. Brisbane was part of that run, getting a show on February 23rd and starting off the Australia section of that years Australia/New Zealand tour. That show was part of that years Soundwave festival. There were technical difficulties throughout the show, impacting ‘LIES GREED MISERY’ and causing the band to stop ‘CASTLE OF GLASS’ and instead move to the next song in the set, even though Chester said they should play ‘A Place For My Head’ instead. Audience recording Earlier this year the band headed out on a four show run, with the last show taking place on January 25th in Mumbai, India at the 2026 edition of Lollapalooza India. This was the bands second ever show in India, coming right after the first one on January 23rd in Bengaluru. At the Mumbai show the band kept with mostly the same setlist they have had ever since their return in September 2024. As for rotations it looked like this: ACT 1 Crawling New DivideACT 2 Over Each Other Lying From You IGYEIHACT 3 StainedACT 4 From the Inside So do we think that the band will experiment with the setlist for the remaining shows of the From Zero cycle? All of From Zero (including the special edition!) has been played live, so what we can hope for at this point is that they bring out some of the songs that haven’t been played as much, like ‘Let You Fade’ and ‘Unshatter’, neither having been played since the 2025 summer/fall US tour. Maybe ‘Breaking the Habit’, ‘Leave Out All the Rest’, or ‘My December’ will return? For the small tour leg this year the band kept ‘CASTLE OF GLASS’ out of the set, do we think it might be gone for this tour as well? After the performances in Boondall the band moves on to more dates in Australia. Melbourne is next, then Adelaide, Sydney after that, and then ending the tour in by finally returning to Auckland, New Zealand. With livestreaming becoming more accessible than ever, fans at home have been able to watch shows on social media via YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram livestreams from attendees.
