They aren't too big, you can never be too popular, unless you get to the point where you can't take a sh*t w/o everyone watching... Anyways, no, I dont' want them to get more popular, in fact, I'd like to see them lose all their preppy little pop-fanatic fans, because they give everyone else that are true fans a bad name. I was called a poser for wearing an LP t-shirt the other day, just because the only other LP fans at my school are preps, and I'm known as a prep hater at my school, so they called me a poser. O_O
It would be nice to build a bigger fan base cause then you know they are gonna keep putting out records for a while.
ditto. I want them to get less popular, I cant stand the girls that go around screaming "OMG, MIKE IS SOOOOOOOOO HOT!!!!!!!!! SOO IS CHESTER!!!!!" losing those fans would be nice. (and preps suck, I hate em too)
I honestly don't care how many fans LP has. It's nice to meet people that likes LP too but I don't care how many records they sell or any of that. All I care about is that they keep releasing good music. Having a big fan-base is good because you can treat your fans with goodies such as large tours and more but otherwise I don't give a s**t really
Linkin Park has a good 8million fans, as it is, thats plenty of people in the world for me to converse with about LP (Thats judging on record sales...) I'm just sick of the stupid little pretty bitches who like Linkin Park, they're so friggen annoying.
It is a yes and no answer. I hate all of the pop and wannabe metalheads who only like in the end. It is a great song, but these people don't understand what lp represents. The answer is yes, because after Hybrid theory was released a lot of jack@$$7$ said that it was a pop album.. After the heavy and awesome stuff on Meteora, they will be proved worng. They can shut up and shove this album up their behind
i dont want them to be even more popular but i do. no, 'cuz then they could be like the Osbourns (u know wat i mean), and yes, 'cuz they aren't known by everybody, so just give a chance to those people to hear those words (lyrics from the songs), especially from Meteora.
I dont mind if they become more popular, as long as its with the right "crowd". I'd rather all the little teenie bopper's not become fans again, I say again because as soon as a song(In The End) isn't the "cool" thing to listen to, teenies dont like it anymore. But if true rock fans get into Linkin Park because of this album, then i'm fine with it. LP deserve the true fans.
i honestly dont care because i am a fan and thats all that matters to me, let retard bandwagons talk all they want when it comes down to it ill be a lp fan till i die so let them get bigger or let them lose their popularity, both ways im still a fan
Same here..........I couldn't have said it better.. I was a fan from the day I saw them, and I always will be as long as they stay true.....
i kinda do... i just hope all the right fans like them... not the teenie bopper's... i hate them... they are so annoying. i post on this forum for the aussies and there is a topic about LP. there are so many girls in there saying "CHESTER IS SO HOT!!!!" and things like that. they all post pics of them in there and say how hot they are as well. i ignore them posts.... <_<
LP wont be as popular as micheal jackass. the way i see it is the more popular u are the sooner u want to get more material out to plez ur fans. then ur music gets pretty crapy cause u don't put as much time into it.(just my opinion)
Thats true. Look at all the big Pop names, such as Nsync, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, etc., they all usually have a new album out every 10 months to a year. Thats not very much time for a whole CD. Oh yea, thats right, all those people do is get a sheet of lyrics and "sing". Stupid me, I forgot they were all fake
Me and my friend Antonio are the only LP fans in delaware county in PA, which is right outside Philedelphia, so every kid listens to rap. I really wouldnt mind a few more fans......

They formed themselves (that's how that fat guy got into the "Making The Band" business, because he was their manager for a time). The write all their own lyrics and all of them can play their own instruments but they don't. When they sing live they run out of breath and stuff just like any other performer who doesn't lip-synch. Also, most of their influences are hard rock or heavy metal bands. One of them came out last year and said that he was only in it for the groupies. They do enjoy it and they do enjoy the fans... but... I don't know, heh. They haven't had a CD in over 2 years, and there was at least a 14 month span between their first 3... Nick (the one with a solo album out now) even said his influences (he loves heavy stuff, and he can play bass, guitar, and drums) are Nirvana, Black Sabbath... Heh, I don't make it my business to know these things anymore though. They're just burned into my mind because I used to like them... Glad LP got me out of that.

...slowly...leaves...thread... [/b][/quote] lol. Yeah, it's sad, I know.. Like I said, I'm glad LP got me out of that. I hate that kind of music now. Heh.
