is evanescene linkinpark with a girl singer????

i heard a song from evanscene, bring me to life i and liked so i went to their site and then to their forum and there was a topic called:
Linkin Park with a girl singer.
well i just wanna know what you guys think about that

I've heard 7 songs by Evanescence and only "Bring me to life" reminds me of [LP] because of the rap. They don't sound like [LP] one bit otherwise.

Btw, the first time I heard [LP] I thought they sounded exactly like Limp Bizkit with a singer.

Evanescence doesnt have a guy singer in the band..it was only for that song..cuz that guy in the song is the lead singer from 12 Stones....other than that they arent LP at all..and they are far from "gothic rock"

 

Evanescence is a gothic metal band with a female lead singer. Paul McCoy of 12 Stones (WHO IS NOT A RAPPER, it's just the way he was singing) was featured on "Bring Me To Life," and only that song.

The only song I like from them is Bring Me to Life. I dont think dat or any song relates with LP's. I like the vid too. btw, it would be kool to hear a song from Lp with Amy Lee on it.

 

Yes, they're Gothic Rock. They have that 'evil' feel to their music.

Ok, first of all, It's "Bring Me to Life."

Second, Evanescence is not a Christian band, they are not Gothic Rock. They are JUST a Rock band. Listen to some of their earlier stuff.

And lastly, they do NOT sound like Linkin Park ONE BIT.

 

Evanescence used to be a christian band and write religious lyrics but they have toned down the religios parts a bit one their latest stuff.

I'm also christian and I didn't find that out until way after I started to listen.
