If you listen to the high Voltage backround music it sounds alot like a sample of the piano music from My December,I was wondering if perhaps My December was written before everyone says

Nope. It was written to be played on Almost Acoustic X-Mas 2000 and to be put on a Holiday Complimation CD I think. The sample was put on on purpose I guess. Oh and the setlist for the AAC 2000 show is:
    01. My December
    02. A Place For My Head
    03. Papercut
    04. Points Of Authority
    05. In The End
    06. With You
    07. Runaway
    08. One Step Closer

"My December" did appear on the "One Step Closer" single from Feb 2001 alongside "High Voltage (Remix)".

The song, as said, was recorded in Nashville for the KROQ Almost Acoustic festival in Fall 2000, after 'Hybrid Theory's release.

Yeah I knew it was played for the first time ever after the release of HT but listen to High Voltage (HTEP) closely and listen to the backround music, maybe My December was taken from that but either way there seems to be a connection

I'll assure you that if there are any similarities, they're merely coincidental. I'm positive, from band testimonials, that the song was recorded in Nashville in Fall 2000 for the compilation.

Yeah in fact, I heard that they played the song live first and the DJ's were so impressed with it that they asked them to record the song. Might be false but its what I read somewhere.
