Well, it's about time. The album seems to be popping up on Torrent sites now, and newgroups and crap. All i can say is that is the BEST album of 2005. I know you NIN junkies will disagree with me but it is IMO, a definate winner. #1 Zero, Man or Animal, Out of Exile, Dandelion, Doesn't Remind Me and Heavens Dead are all brilliant songs. You can also listen to it on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/audioslave
I've just finished listening to it and it sounds really good. I'll have to listen to it again before i judge it too much though.
It's going to take one hell of an album to overtake my personal #1 (The Mars Volta's "Frances The Mute"). I'm obtaining it now. Let's hope it's as good as their debut, and they don't suffer from the sophomore slump.
Upon first listen i say that their debut was a little better, but i've only listened to "Out Of Exile" once though.
So far, It's really good. It does sound like they've come together more as a band than they were on their debut. It's great music.
this is an amazing album, the more you listen the more it pulls you in. Its really good. If your looking for another album with songs like Show Me How To Live and songs of similar stature then this album won't please you as much as the first. I think hardcore Rage fans will prefer the first and hardcore Soundgarden and Chris Cornell fans will prefer this CD. It flows much better and features much better crafted songs.
Well I liked the first Audioslave CD and I just got into it again knowing that this album is coming out. This one is just as good, probably better due to the fact that it sounds like Audioslave instead of Rage and Soundgarden. Probably my favorite tracks are Be Yourself, The Worm, and Out of Exile. Def. love the guitar work on the title track, especially the chorus.
