They are a Canadian cult death metal band. Best in the world, IMO. I fucking love these guys. And I have their drummer on MSN, so hah.
I've only heard Devin Townsend's solo record, "Ocean Machine". And I like that shit alot. I know it's totally different from Strapping Young Lad, too.
Yup. Just how I like it. I lve for the most aggressive shit on the planet. @Casey-Yeah, I have all of Devin's solo albums, as much different from SYL as they are, i still love them. If you want a kick in the ass, listen to Shitstorm. But add me on MSN if you wanna hear it, don't download it.
I asked why can't I. [/b][/quote] Because downloading their stuff(along with some other bands) could end up ruining their careers. They're not exactly rich, you know. if you add me on MSN, I can send you the song. I buy the albums, upload them into my computer and unshare them.
You know that's how many people find out about these unknown bands, right. By downloading? EDIT: Your logic is flawed, too. You say not to download it, but what you're doing is sharing a song too that doesn't go towards the band profits.
Well, you do have a right in saying that. I guess so. Don't download too many, ya hear? And yeah. My logic is a little flawed.
I'll buy the album even if I already have it downloaded on my computer. It's all about the artwork and presentation of the CD, you know. As much as I love Trent Reznor, the man couldn't be any more wrong on the subject of the death of the CD booklet. It's a deciding factor for my purchases most of the time.
I'll give you two songs you should download- Shitstorm Far Beyond Metal And yes, Reznor is wrong. What do you think happened with Hybrid Theory?
