Case Study in Repression Soul destroying polluted waste, My shell is fleeing, I hurt myself to feel safe, Then wish away this bleeding, As the repression gets to me, Pinprick at the fault lines, Empty the broken shards of glass, Peel back the skin and pick me apart, And it’s not always me, The only one who feels this, My dirt is on the inside, The reflection’s in my head, A case study in repression, These feelings won’t go away, Hate-breeding self-indulgence, The walls are closing in, My mind is numb from filth, I pray to escape my sin, I’ll erase till I get closure, Reptilian underneath the lies, Spread the words of disease, Are you afraid to see, And it’s not always me, The only one who feels this, My dirt is on the inside, The reflection’s in my head, A case study in repression, These feelings won’t go away. thoughts please...
