The Last of Winter I hear your whisper in my ears, My love your breath is getting faint, Don't leave me here in this hole, This place that we call earth, A place I now call hell, The red turns to white, My tears take fire to my heart, These cold daggers pierce so deep, Yet I can still recall your words, And I take them to heart like a bullet, These words I can't recall, I've still got you in my arms, Realising my nightmare is now real, The silence whispers to me, I'm still holding your last breath, As the last of winter falls, It won't be long, My heart is cold, It won't be long, I will wait for you, I'm still holding your last breath, As the last of winter falls. I finally finished this, i've been trying to write it all summer.
This reminds me of the song I wrote for Sarah when she was in hospital with Pnuemonia (Not that it matters much right now as it stands). This is really good, keep it up,I want to see more from you,I see potential.
check out my song, Hell is For The Heroes, it's on this page frther down, if you want to see more of my work... sorry about the blatant self-promotion.
I read it and no offence but this takes Hell Is For Heroes and flushes it down the crapper. This is gold compared to that.Sorry
