    Is Roadrunner United a band?

I thought there was a division of Roadrunner Records called United.

Roadrunners United is about 50 artists from many different bands under the Roadrunner Records lable collaberating with each other to celebrate the 25th aniversary of Roadrunner Records. Its produced by Trivium's Matt Heafy, Slipknot's Joey Jordinson and 2 others I forgot

    That's amazing.

One question, who wrote these songs? Did Howard Jones write these lyrics since he's doing vocals? Is that how it works?

I think the producers (who are also in famous RRR bands) come up with everything; the music, the lyrics etc.

I can't remember the 6 that were announced (theres obviously gonna be more) but I know that Danni Filth (Cradle Of Filth) and Corey Taylor (Slipknot) feature in one or two of them. I know that Matt Heafy features alot throughout the album wether he's doing vocals or just guitaring or both but I think The Dagger is the only song to feature Howard Jones.

I hope other record companies steal this idea and start to put out a mixed CD with artists friom their label. It won't work with all labels, but some could get away with it.
