Gazebow Unit is a local rap-parody group who are huge here in my town. Basically, they're a group of kids around the age of 15-16 who get together and write hilarious rap songs about a group of skeets in an area of town know as "Airport Heights" who brag about their bikes and have some very unique slang. It's like a mix of out-of-town Newfie accents (Irish/Scottish-like) and raw skeet slang. Anyways, although these songs could be described as immature, some of the lyrics are clever and hilarious. I'm afraid some people who don't understand the situation behind some of these lyrics won't really get the total meaning, so give it a listen and post a reply. I don't know what your reactions will be to this. lol Wow that's great. I like them because if you give them better beats they're on the same level of lyricism as G-Unit. Skidoo skidoo!! *edit* They have no rhythm lol
It's not horrible, but I can't say it's very good, even as a pun/joke... but I'm sure it's a fun thing for them to do and for people to watch, which is all that matters.
LOL thats funny but I'll stop there before i make anykind of regretful remarks. But I must admit i love the newphie accent, I worked with Newphies all summer and they were hilarious.
