I wanted to get my own cell phone, but because i'm going to college and making car payments and all that i didn't want to get on a contract or anything. i decided to go prepay. i have the Nokia 3587i phone. it's a nice little phone. it's served me well. but for the past couple of months my text messaging has just flat out stopped on me. does anyone know the cause of this or why it does this? has anyone had this problem on their phone, no matter what type? was there a way to fix it?

I don't really want to spend money on another phone, but truthfully i do want another phone. In your opinion, what's the best prepay phone? if you get on a contract what's the best phone to get?

    thanks

Uh...talk to the people at the place where you got the phone I guess.

Who's your provider? If you've got Cingular, crappy service is normal. (463 days, 3 hours, 11 minutes, 30 seconds until my contract is up!)

yeah...Wal Mart could really help me...i live in a place where they don't know anything about electronics and how they work. I do believe my provider is Cingular.

As I said, stuff not working with Cingular is normal ;)

Seriously, call their customer support line. Just pray that you get someone who speaks English.
