Does anyone listen to him? I know a couple people who hate hip-hop but love Immortal Technique. For those of you who aren't familiar with him, most of his lyrics are very meaningful and some are political. I would recommend listening to "Dance With The Devil", "The Point of No Return", "Freedom of Speech", etc. Here is his biography just in case anyone is interested in reading it:
I've never heard of him, but I've always liked "meaningful" rappers such as Public Enemy, Saul Williams, The Perceptionists, etc. moreso than rappers that have lyrics mainly about their rims and hoes. That's just me. I'll check him out, I guess.
Immortal Technique is way tight. I think his best song is 'Bin Laden', featuring Mos Def. They really rip into Bush with that one.
I personally hate Bin Laden. I think it's a horrible track. I like Peruvian Cocaine and The Illest better.
He reminds me of that guy who can't really rap on beat but has some rather important things to say...I cant think of his name.
MF Doom? I haven't listened to see if he actually raps on beat but he talks about some important things.
