'Under the Iron Sea', Keane's sophomore debut and follow-up to the successful 'Hopes & Fears' will be released June 12th worldwide, and June 20th in America. Very excited about this, as I thought their first album was one of the best discs I had ever heard. The track listing is as follows:

    1. Atlantic
    2. Is It Any Wonder?
    3. Nothing In My Way
    4. Leaving So Soon?
    5. A Bad Dream
    6. Hamburg Song
    7. Put It Behind You
    8. The Iron Sea
    9. Crystal Ball
    10. Try Again
    11. Broken Toy
    12. The Frog Prince

I like Keane very much. I really enjoyed their first album so I'll probably be picking this one up as well.

I'll also be checking this out. Keane is an excellent band and their first album was amazing.

Of the two reviews I've read, both regarded it very highly. One even went so far to call it 'The Bends' of Keane, perhaps as to suggest an even greater magnitude to follow this. But that's just rubbish for the moment.

Atlantic, a download-only single will be released mid-April, with a different, physical single following in May.

Okay, well, I just heard Is It Any Wonder? and I'm not sure what to make of it. It appears as this will be the X&Y of Keane's career, and I don't think that's a good thing. But, we'll have to wait and see, since singles usually aren't the best tracks.

I don't know if I'll be able to stomach any more Keane. I used to like Somewhere Only We Know (or whatever it's called) but then it was the only Keane video VH1 and MTV ever showed and it got way over played now I can't stand Keane lol maybe I'll listen to the songs once to see what they're like.

Listen to the Vines, and don't listen to the radio/music video. I never do, and I am actually annoyed by people who choose their music based on popularity. Who cares what anyone else is listening to?

That's the exact same thing, and it's the worst reason to ignore music. It's like saying, "I'm not going to be friends with that person, they have too many friends already".

I grow tired of people who fail to realize this. Because even though you think you're choosing for yourself, you're not; your decision is based entirely on what everyone else listens to. That's just sad, imo.
