I think its some sort of map.. that there are more stations on the island.
It's definately a map that links to the numerous Dharma stations on the island. "The Swan" station is the one they're currently in, there's also "The Medical" station we saw in "Maternity Leave" & then there's obviously more. Judging by the map, one under water to name one. The map is a little confusing and not easy to understand. It's layed over with latin scripture and print. Some people believe that more than one person has been drawing the map, maybe even before Desmond was there. Who or why though I don't know. Why would somebody want to hide the map so much and go to as much trouble to black light it? If somebody wanted a map why not just draw it in chalk on the wall? I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. I think it's a map of the stations around the island and how they link together. If you look at the original map you can see tunnels and lines which connect them together, and judging by how long it took Clair to get to the "Medical Station" in "Maternity Leave" they're not too far apart. It's just a case of what the centre holds. Obviously the person(s) who drew the map don't know themselves. There's a number of explanations that can relate to this map. Walt is probably in one of them, hence the computer, and Desmond has probably gone to another one of them. It'll all make sense one day I'm sure.
No. He went into the jungle & Jack caught up with him, he then questioned Jack where he knew him from, after Desmond figured out where he knew him from he asked him about the woman they spoke about years before, that's when Jack replied he married her. Desmond then said "see you in another life" & carried on into the jungle. So presumably he's still very much alive.
Finally a Lost thread . I'm a few episodes behind you guys. I'm at 14 right now I think. But didn't you say you were going to put spoilers in the same color as the forum ? I love the show. ok I've seen a few episodes of Lost and the last one I saw was where the black guy's son gets kidnapped by the pirates (I think) what happened to the kid? I never found out

I like the show, but it progresses way to slow. This is what holds it back from being a steallar show on the tubes today. I will never compete with the likes of Sopranos, Oz and 24.
I've only seen two or three episodes of the new season. I'm trying to miss all the episodes on purpose now because I've seen so few of them. I'm going to buy the season when it comes out on DVD, though. Edit: Ryan, Lost is one of the biggest shows on TV right now. I've no idea what you're talking about.
I know its a huge show and may people watch it, but I just doubt it will go many seasons because I tihnk many people will loose interest in it fast. Its slow progression of the storyline makes me feel like i have wasted an hour of my time wathcing it week to week or every third week however they plan on showing it. Edit: Plus Linkin Park is really popular too, but does that mean they are great, no!. Just cause something is popular doesn't mean its good.

Well, I have Prime TV or Canal+ (the old name) It's an extra movie channel. Yesterday it was episode 15 on there but on the normal Belgium TV I guess they're at 8 or 10 because they watch two episodes on one day. What happened to Claire really changes everything ...
Episodes like last night is what make this show so damn boring. A complete garbage episode, but all of a sudden michael comes rolling out of the bushes and the episode ends. So of course i ahve to watch next week to see what thats all about if they even touch on it.
