Hi, I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who would like Brad Delson to show some more guitar skills. I mean yeah hes a good guitarist, we know that, but I think he could make alot more complicated and better guitar riffs than what hes already done. Dont get me wrong, I think all of his work in LP has been awesome, especially Figure .09, But Im just saying that I think he could do better.
He could do more complicated stuff sure but would that really add to the sound or even make LP sound better or just different?
Well thats the dilemma probably. If they do too much on the hip-hop side, theyll lose fans, if they do too much on the rock side, theyll lose fans, so I guess they might be afraid of that, but he could at least do a solo!
ya, maybe like one solo max, but brads role is just to plain and simply play what NEEDS to be played, to make the song complete
I do agree that Brad is playing pretty simple, and that he should step it up just a little, but I don't want him to go to hardcore solos and such. Just a little more than just power chords.
no solos in any way, shape or form. that just isnt lp in any way, it'd throw the formula right out. though we've seen he can do some great riffs (faint, figure.09 etc) so a little more in that department would be great
