Atreyu have left the Victory roster and landed themselves a new deal with Hollywood Records. A statement from band frontman Alex Varkatzas on the signing runs as follows:
"As a group of friends playing music our main goal is to grow and spread our brand of metallic rock around the world. We try to progress and grow on each album we record. We feel that Hollywood Records is the perfect place to continue to grow, while maintaining our freedom to do whatever the hell we want with our songs. We look forward to our future with Hollywood, they have shown a real interest in us for quite a while. To put it simply, they are down for us and we are down for them. C ya in the pit."

So see them join the ranks of Eighteen Visions and Avenged Sevenfold real soon

I'm so glad they left =]. I can't stand Victory Records >_<. Most of the bands on Victory have no talent . Just look at Aiden as an example. And I don't like how they put their bands in your face with those dumb ass commercials

It's a shame they've left, but I don't think they're going to find much solace in Hollywood Records. Whether it was Breaking Benjamin's own choice or not, they're music has been watered-down and radio-friendly after their first album, and I'm sure Hollywood Records had a lot to do with that. Obviously Atreyu's sound got "less heavy" when they were on Victory, but I have a bad feeling that Hollywood Records are going to change them for the worst, and that's a shame because they used to be one of my favorite bands.
