I wrote an entire song in an hour, recorded it and now I'm like "Eh" about it

SAME.

I've done that so many times, and I don't even know why it happens. I'm so psyched about the song, and then when I get it recorded, something just turns me off.

I'm betting it's mostly the audio quality.

 

Evidence is not fun funs.

 

When I play the song I love it, but the recording I was like..eee. I mean I like it but I don't think I'll put it on my Myspace.

Maybe, if my friends tell me to I will.

 

That's why I re-did the last two songs I recorded about three times a piece, until I was satisfied with them. I loved playing them, but to listen to the actual audio the first couple of times around... it was a nightmare.

I'm still not quite happy with them, either. :/

 

Yeah, i'm making a Demo EP to give out to friends and I have 2 original songs done and I LOVE how they sound, I wanted to make another one so I would have 3 originals and I can put my good recorded covers on it as well. I may still do that with this new recording, idk yet.

But I'm just takin' my time. I want it to be good.

 

It better be good.
