Australia and New Zealand Tour 2026, Part 2 [LPTV FROM ZERO: Episode 46]

Amidst much hype, Linkin Park has delivered us the long-awaited second LPTV episode covering their incredible Australia / New Zealand run last month. Coming after the previous episode which touched on their stops in Australian cities Brisbane and Melbourne, this newest episode covers Linkin Park's two Sydney shows and a record-breaking stop in Auckland, New Zealand to close out the tour leg.

Night 1 for Sydney on March 14 was an important event, with Linkin Park having cancelled the Adelaide show meant to precede it due to illness. This caused a swirl of speculation about whether or not the show would even happen, and how the band's performance might be affected. In this LPTV episode, the band appears completely undeterred backstage at Qudos Bank Arena ahead of the show, which ultimately went off without a hitch.

Another major highlight here is obviously Mr. Hahn having his March 15 birthday celebrated on-stage during night 2 with some cake and dancing, although all the cake really went to the audience. In-between, we get a nice look at Sydney's Linkin Park x Deus Ex Machina pop-up event. Hahn and Colin Brittain are seen making a surprise appearance ahead of the second show.

The episode then takes us over the pond to New Zealand, kicking off there with a brief glimpse at the Linkin Park Underground From Zero Night event there at The Tuning Fork. Fan club members in attendance got to have a lot of fun, participating in raffles, singing Linkin Park songs really loudly, drinking themed cocktails, and more, ahead of the show at Auckland's Spark Arena the following night.

That event, of course, delivered the arena its biggest crowd ever, fitting the momentous occasion of Linkin Park's return to New Zealand and the final show of the tour leg. The episode shows us venue staff congratulating the band with some more cake, which they presumably got to have this time.

This episode leaves us now up to date as far as Linkin Park's touring activities; the band is now on a two-month break following the AU / NZ run, due to return to the stage in Europe later this year for the final run of shows before the From Zero tour cycle comes to an end.
