Original image: @radnomadvisuals on Instagram While Linkin Park has performed seven times in total in Portugal, we’re today just gonna focus on their three previous performances at the legendary Rock in Rio:Lisboa festival in Lisbon, Portugal. Thankfully this is a festival that livestreams, so we have video of all the shows! 2008 saw the first appearance of Linkin Park at Rock in Rio: Lisboa, a year after Minutes to Midnight had been released, the band headed back to Europe for a festival run. ‘Pushing Me Away’ was played in its studio version for the first time since 2001, replacing the piano/vocal only version that had been played since 2006. ‘Valentines Day’ and ‘In Pieces’ from this show are the only pro-shots we have of those songs. Four years after their first performance at the festival, the band returned in 2012 to start off the touring cycle for LIVING THINGS. with this being the start of the cycle, this performance brought out a new extended intro and outro for the opening song ‘A Place for My Head’ and the live debut of ‘LIES GREED MISERY’ after it was revealed to the world just two days earlier. 2014 offered up yet another performance at the festival, this was one of the first shows on the touring cycle for The Hunting Party, the only performance taking place before was six days earlier in Tuscon, Arizona where they debuted the new show intro, ‘Guilty All the Same’, ‘Wastlands’, the first incarnations of the Joe and Mike solos that still continue to this day in very different forms, ‘Until It’s Gone’, and many shortened versions of old songs. The bands most recent performance offered up a rare opportunity, a festival show with a full headlining two hour time slot, so the bands performed their full normal set, this set being Set B. This has happened previously on this tour, the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City, Mexico that ended the 2025 tour, and in Mumbai, India at the “Lollapalooza India” festival earlier this year. As we know by now, Set B means rotation songs like ‘Stained‘, ‘Unshatter‘, ‘Good Things Go‘, ‘With You‘, and opening the show with ‘Lying From You‘. Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of videos from the show on YouTube, so I’ll have to show what I can find. Waiting for the End What I’ve Done Unlike the recent performance at “O Son do Camiño” and most festival shows last year, this festival performance will be livestreamed! At their recent performance at Rock am Ring they allowed the show be livestreamed and took the opportunity to announce their upcoming movie “Unshatter”. Do we think there will be another announcement on this stream? Maybe the release date for the movie? You can watch the stream embedded below or on the Rock in Rio Lisboa YouTube page. Unfortuntaly we’re nearing the end of the From Zero World Tour, there are only five shows left. After tonights show in Lisbon, the band heads back to Spain for two back-to-back headlining shows in Madrid before making their last festival appearances of the year in Florence, Italy and Werchter, Belgium. After that they travel over to Zürich, Switzerland where they’ll end the tour by playing a make-up show for when they had to cancel in Bern last year. As mentioned above, the stream will have an official livestream… but it’s tradition at this point. With live streaming becoming more accessible than ever, fans at home have been able to watch shows on social media via YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram livestreams from attendees. While we are not asking our readers to livestream the show, if anyone reading this finds a stream or is streaming it themselves, let us know so we can watch along with you! Will you be attending this show tonight? Visit our official LPA Meetup Thread if so and let others know! We'd love for you to send any pictures or videos from the show our way as well @LPAssociation on Instagram and Twitter. Whether you're attending or not, come and discuss the show in our forums. decent livestream however i was not a fan of the audiomix / audio engineering. sounded fairly flat very often anyway, all in all pretty sick anyway
I was at this show!! I really liked it, the band was amazing, but Emily's mic was way too quiet in some songs so her vocals got drowned in the mix sometimes. Also I had made it to the barricades but because of the people in the VIP area (which was located in front of the normal barricades) I wasn't able to see the stage from there, so I ended up staying near the bar, since it was elevated compared to the floor XD. It would have also been cool if we had a Mr. Hahn solo on this set, but yea, other than that the show was so awesome!! It was my 1st time seeing LP live and I really loved it
