A piece on Linkin Park member Joe Hahn was recently published by HILuxury Magazine, a Hawaii-based luxury lifestyle publication that has been active since 1998. The article, titled "The Visual Architect", serves as the cover story for HILuxury's current August / September 2026 issue (Volume 20, Issue 02), and was written by the magazine's Culture Editor James Charisma. Aside from touching on Linkin Park's recent history, the story mostly zooms in on Mr. Hahn individually, looking at his role as a creative / visual director who had an outsized role in establishing the band's strong visual identity and branding. One major focus is the highly-anticipated Linkin Park documentary Unshatter which Hahn directed, supposedly due to see the light of day before the end of 2026. Linkin Park's longtime fans know that Hahn has long leveraged his visual arts background to contribute what has become one of the band's biggest strengths. From the very beginning, he has helped to design practically every single piece of merchandise, album packaging, online experience, and, of course, the iconic, unforgettable music videos. Hahn was interviewed for this story in the midst of Linkin Park's recent European tour, speaking on his career in music and his passion for art. To say the least, Hahn has gone on quite a few sidequests beyond the Linkin Park confines over the years, and the article touches on the ones specific to Hawai'i, such as a Hawai'i Five-O reboot that he was involved in at one point, and various murals that he's painted for World Wide Walls over the years. Regarding Unshatter, Hahn describes the upcoming film as being, unsurprisingly, a rather intimate piece capturing the band members' friendship and Linkin Park's journey to announcing their return with From Zero.
