The only rock band with female vocals that I listen to is PVRIS and she sound fantastic. And I don't know if MisterWives counts as rock band but...
I think that female singers are the better vocalist than males when it comes to melodic singing.

Same, there's so many amazing artists from these indie genres that deserve more much recognition for making everything completely by themselves.

I can't stand hip hop or rap at all, and I think it's the most overrated genre in music.
