When they say softer and more melodic, i cant help but think of the chili peppers. i reckon the chilis are great, but id hate to see lp take that...
Obviously they going to lose fans in between albums, that happens to every band. But I dont think their hardcore fan base has shrunk even remotely...
Sure it would be great if its longer, but not if it means they have to sacrifice quality.
