Yes, I've read his post. The thing is, on Meteora they were extremely derivative of themselves. On that album they ape themselves at least as much...
Not to sound like a broken record, but Meteora says hello. They'd have to go a long way to surpass Meteora in that respect, and I don't think MTM...
Starwing/Star Fox
How did you get b8 from but?
Burning In The Skies
Don't Stay has probably the worst lyrics overall on that album, but it's also probably one of the songs on there that I enjoy most haha.
To be honest, there are probably plenty of Meteora songs that include something that can compete for the title of worst Linkin Park lyric.
Yeah haha, even if these aren't great lyrics I would probably still pick them over a decent amount from earlier in their career.
lol Cliff Richard
Stop that criticising the album bullshit. That doesn't mean anything if you say it a week after you've heard the album. Come back in three years...
They wrote a song about Cardcaptors.
Not that I've listened to their demos for a while, but Mike's earlier lyrics aren't great either and if he's referred to them as a mess of words...
I feel offended that people actually believe 9/11 conspiracy theories even though they're bollocks. :P
Again, he said that ideally their albums SHOULD beat their previous work, not that they have in every case to date. He didn't say anything about...
He said that ideally they ought to get better with every album. Not that they've necessarily succeeded at that every time.
I'd say about half of those artists, if not more, are on at least the same level as Linkin Park in at least a couple of those areas.
It is an overreaction to say the least, but at the same time he makes a rather shaky point because in doing this he isn't a hell of a lot better...
