If you think so, then I would vote for it...sure, you hear it all the time on the radio but it makes people check out the damn good stuff on the album.

I'm going to vote for "From Yesterday." That song's about Alexander the Great. And it's fucking epic.

I should vote for The Kill just to spite you, but I'll probably end up voting for The Fantasy.

"The Kill" has some pretty angsty lyrics, but it's catchy as hell.

I'm torn. I like songs like "The Fantasy" and "The Kill", but "A Beautiful Lie" seems like a song that really shows who they are on this new album and it would make a good video.

So, I'll vote for "A Beautiful Lie".

"The Kill", "A Beautiful Lie" or "From Yesterday"... can't decide!

Edit: A bit off-topic (but still a little on-topic at the same time), but I hate it when people act high-and-mighty because they knew about a band before everyone else, but does anyone else sometimes get mad with all the 30 Seconds to Mars publicity and the new fans? I don't get mad that they have new fans or anything, but I absolutely hate it when people act like they've been a fan of them "forever" when they haven't. No one cares how long you've liked them, so what's the point in lying about it?

I guess I'm just a jerk like that, though.

I don't like the new fans that go around saying how much better the new material is compared to the old material just because they don't understand the material from the self-titled (and, in my opinion, much better) record. And as with you, I don't like the new fans that try to make it seem like they've known about the band since their self-titled record was released.

I, on the other hand, have known about them since their self-titled record was released (thanks to Mark) and I'm damn proud of it. I wore my (original) 30 Seconds to Mars shirt to their show a couple of months ago (when they were supporting Chevelle) and Jared grabbed onto my hand from the stage (and I was about four or five rows back). He knew I was a real fan.

Haha, I remember your reaction when I sent you "Capricorn (A Brand New Name)".

If they ever released "Battle of One", it'd be the greatest single release of all time. Too ba dit's not on the tracklisting on the back of copies of 'ABL', though.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned it -- I knew most people here were fans of 30STM before the album was even released. Same on LPU.

I'm on the same boat as Will but instead that I was on their street team before their S/T came out.

I remember picking up the S/T CD the day out of nowhere after Xmas back when it first came out. It was decent, but I wasn't really into the whole space thing they did with the album. Made it more like a radio friendly Tool. The new album is much much better.

Their new album is way more radio-friendly than their self-titled. Their self-titled wasn't bland.

I know that, it doesn't mean I didn't hate the self-titled one. It was decent enough for a purchase though, I just like the new one better. Who cares if it's a little too radio friendly. Radio probably still won't play it.

Oh. I thought you meant it sucked because it sounded radio-friendly.
