what i mean for what year the song FIRST came out--, i meant: when it was FIRST out shown on TELEVISION ONLY. I'M JUST TALKING ABOUT "IN THE END'S" MUSIC VIDEO-->WHEN THAT WAS FIRST OUT Of course, that album has already been out.
ONLY AN EXPERIMENT: as seen in latest shoutbox message by me. Just look at the awesome smile-face. just to see if it'll enhance.
In The End was released as a single in 2001. That means the album was about a year old. Hybrid Theory sold roughly 3 Million copies in the US and 5 Million world wide at the time of the release of In The End as a single. Since it was released in 2001 as a single, that makes it just about 10 years old as a single. Since It's release, Hybrid Theory has sold over 10 Million copies in the US and over 24 Million world wide. I guess in the end, it really did matter.
Oh dear You must have a super really good memory haha!! How do you remember those numbers on the closest approx guess of albums sold wide lol. That blew me away!-- All in a surprising way!!! !!! YOU ARE CORRECT, HYBRID *now since you Hybird gotten the right questions, here's a bonus to test your serious memory as an extra question: For Hybrid only: BASED THE CORRECT ANSWERS, #1 ABOUT WHAT YEAR DID MTV2 COME OUT-WAS NEW TO TELEVISION? AND #2 WAS THE BOX (A CHANNEL LIKE MTV) WAS ON BEFORE MTV2 OR AFTER MTV2? i and we all know that MTV2 is a hip-hop music video station. we all know that MTV is the original channel before MTV2 was out.
Well, truth be told, I actually moved my In The End music video promotional video cassette earlier today and read the box which had the pre ITE records sold. I did know when the CD and the single came out by heart, though... Also, I knew the current totals for records sold because I looked at it last month... As far as MTV2 and the box goes, I have no clue what so ever. I'm not a big MTV fan so yeah...
I haven't seen MTV on television in a few years. Nowadays like in 2011, I just go to MTV's website to watch my favorite shows online since that's the same year that I got my labtop. I'm glad you atleast heard of MTV. The Box is an OLD television station (a name of a broadcast company for television). It plays Music Video's all day. Unfortunately, The Box cancelled their Television Program due to not having enough popular viewers watching that station. The Box was up to date with their music. Remember in 2000, that was the Year of the Milleninum for alternative rock music bands to start being popular--> 2000. There must of had been at least 15 different 'new' alternative rock bands including Linkin Park who had just debuted in 2000 and for the rest of the 'new' alternative rock bandshad been successful for at the least 8 years. If those 14 out of 15 rock bands got lucky, they might still be very successful even in 2011. Not than just 8 years. That 8 years is the contract thingy: once a very new band first debute, that is when their contract starts 1 out of 8. Then, depending on that particular band's popularity-ness and the [number of awards per season with per music award show (the extras)], then that 8 year contract will go now to 2 out of 8. To keep it going, eventually it'll hit up to 7 out of 8. I'm not sure if 8 is the absolute minimum number on how long a music contract lasts??? It may be even a 13 year contract would be at a least. For music, contracts may be even at the least 30-40 years. If want to be in a famous rock band, it's best to start off when young because you never know how long that last year when that contract runs out. Because Linkin Park definately graduated college [all of them], and once Linkin Park was able to meet all of their members to be complete with 6 total members to be linkin park, based on In The End the members of Linkin Park had to be in their 25 to 30 age range and their latest music nowadays [2011] they look like they have to be in their 29 to age 40 range for nowadays. With MTV2 being new, MTV2 was new like in or around 1999-2000. I know this because As i was at home on one Saturday, I was watching The Box on a regular clear television station. The Box playes a lot of Alternative Rock Music for the music videos that they show for people at home to watch. I've gotten used to watching The Box because at that time, I was also a New listener of Alternative Rock band music (like Linkin Park). in the previous year when i was a 6 grader, I used to only listen to R and B, Hip hop and Rap music. At that age, I had never heard of Alternative Rock music before ever. At that point of time, i was playing the clarinet, but only for band music type stuff. So, I wasnt exploring different types of genres for music. Later in that same year, I got really tired of listening to the same boring genre every day. So I decided to experiment and I found Alternative Rock Music. Of course at that age, all I knew that was Alternative Rock music was just only Rock Music. As I watched the Rock music all day on the first few days, I was starting to get used to the names of certain Rock bands. Then, The Box played the same 10 songs over and over again and from there I was starting to know the names of the bands that The Box played by heart. One of the bands for Rock music that The Box kept playing alot was Linkin Park. That song was In The End. I remembered that particular one and the name of that band [Linkin Park] out of all the ones that I saw repeatedly because In The End was soo unique, it was Scienced-based "fantasy Sci-fi" type of music video, according to the other bands that The Box played on television. In my 6th grade year, That is when the very first time, in this case year, that I have heard of Linkin Park as a rock band. In my 6th grade year, it was the years 1999 to 2000. 1999 to 2000 is considered one full year for elementary school students. That one was meant to be remembered and from that point forward, in my 8th grade year in 2002-2003, i decided to look up In The End and to see what other songs that Linkin Park has played [on Hybrid Theory] to watch on the computer at the Library at school. From that point forward, that's how I became an ultimate fan of Linkin Park.
