As most of the people on my buddy list already know, I was blessed with the glory that is a PSP for Christmas. However, I've gone out to buy some games for it and I am APALLED at how high they price games that are so small in size. Therefore, I'm coming to you guys with a question.

What are the best games currentely availible for the PSP? I mean the games that are incredible and really show off what the PSP is capable of. Also if any of those happens to have online multiplayer capabilities please let me know as I am planning to get a router soon to connect my PSP to the net.

    So any suggestions anyone?

Twisted Metal: Head On is one of the better games for PSP, and so is Lumines, which is basically a newer version of Tetris, but a bit different. Star Wars Battlefront: 2 is another great game for PSP. Start out with these 3 and go from there.

What if I thought Vice City was the only decent game in that series?

    You'd be very wrong :D

I have GTA:LCS FOR PSP and it kicks ass!

Burnout Legends is also good if you're a fan of crashing cars into shit, which I am. I'm currently addicted to Need for Speed Most Wanted and will play that after I post this.

Burnout Legends is addicting. I just got it for Christmas and it's a blast to play.

I agree, very much fun. I also love WipeOut Pure. Very fast paced, and the game technically never ends because they come out with new downloadables for it every once in a while.

Trade it in and get a DS with Mario Kart :D

Seriously, the only game I can think of that really shows off the PSP's capabilities as such is GTA. But for actual quality gaming I would recommend WipeOut Pure and Ape Academy. Battlefront 2 is also a great game if you can play it with at least two or 3 other people(going by the home console versions, that is).
