My main point was that the primary purpose of singles are for radio exposure and promotion. Unless you want to elaborate, I don't see how that changes anything.
Disagreed, that was probably the case prior to 2000-something, but post-iTunes the music industry has for the most part shifted into selling primarily singles for a dollar, 1.20 something a piece. Selling albums digitally, complete or in chunks, is how it's done now.
I feel like it might as well be. 4 "singles" and all the ones post-Burn It Down haven't gotten much exposure or are delayed beyond all hell. The video for COG came out what, like a month ago? And the single doesn't release until February? Why? What's going on here? I know they still plan on doing an actual "Living Things" tour since I don't think they count the Honda Civic tour as one, so hopefully with the release of COG they'll get back on track with promotional stuff.
What are you expecting? One more video at the most. It's a shame they didn't promote their singles and given nice release dates. I feel like CoG and LITE had potential. Oh well, at least CoG video got played a lot around here. I doubt that tour. They said only one NA date, couple in Australia (Feb-Mar) and maybe a couple in Europe. Yep. So could CoG.
Well this is not bad considering none of ATS's singles made into the Hot 100 chart and ATS made it into #53 on Billboard 200 chart. I just wish they could clarify the singles. If I see them post "our current single - BURN IT DOWN" I'm going to be mighty pissed.

Hey guys, good news. Castle of Glass just entered the top ten of iTunes Austria. Probably they decide to promote Castle of Glass outside of Austria more when they see that hit potential.
