Once so pure, once so clean
But a change forced upon her a brand new routine
Something she never thought she'd be
In all of her worst dreams

    Drinking to feel alive
She strives to feel anything at all
    Possessed by sex and pills
    Escaping what is real

The colors of her exile are painted
    On her ever-paling skin
The love that once kept her warm
    Has been frozen in sin

She takes another blind shot at affection
One step deeper into her obsession
She downs another shot to cure her addiction
Wondering how she's in this position

    Fucking to feel alive
She strives to feel anything at all
    But living makes no sense
    When you're already in hell

The colors of her exile are painted
    On her ever-paling skin
The love that once kept her warm
    Has been frozen in sin

Being lied to wasn’t the hardest part
It was being forgotten that broke her heart
Filling a void the only way that she can
    Falling

    Dying to feel alive
She strives to break free of herself
But she can't make a single step
    She's trapped inside this underworld

Incapable of change, in vein she tries
Another passing phase, just a different disguise
Facades are the fashion, or so she's been told
Many debts she must pay, the collateral being her soul

Cheers mate, not too sure but I've got a little melody for it. These days anything is heads or tails with regards to music seeing as working from California I'm doing pretty much everything by myself. But I'm meeting up with a few band mates this weekend to present them with a few ideas for songs so hopefully something will come out of it.
